Mental health issues among adolescents are a serious concern in Indonesia because they can affect adolescents’ psychological and social well-being as well as their quality of life. This study aims to </em><em>disclose the relationship between mental health literacy and emotional resilience in students at Public Junior High School 5 (SMP Negeri 5) of Indralaya Utara.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Method: </em></strong><em>This study used a quantitative cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 166 respondents selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data were collected using the Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire-Short Version for Adolescents (MHLq-SVa) to measure mental health literacy and the Growth- Focused Resilience Scale (GFRS) to measure emotional resilience. The data analysis was performed using the Fisher's Exact Test.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result: </em></strong><em>M</em><em>ajority of the respondents (115) had moderate mental health literacy (69.3%), with 162 respondents having good emotional resilience (97.6%). Nausea severity was assessed within the first 2 hours postoperatively (early PONV phase) using the Baxter Retching Faces (BARF) Scale, while vomiting events were recorded using an observation sheet. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis and presented as frequency and percentage distributions.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result</em></strong><em>: A total of 45 out of 46 patients (97.8%) showed postoperative nausea symptoms (BARF ≥1). The majority experienced mild to moderate nausea (60.9%), followed by severe nausea (37.0%), and vomiting (4.3%). Nausea symptoms were observed across all categories of age, sex, and duration of surgery, with higher intensity tendency in procedures with moderate to longer durations.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Conclusion</em></strong><em>: Early postoperative nausea symptoms in pediatric patients showed a very high prevalence, predominantly characterized by mild to moderate nausea. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of effleurage massage using VCO and proper positioning on the pressure ulcer risk score of bedrest patients in Inpatient Room of Hospital in Yogyakarta. </em></p> <p><strong><em>Method:</em></strong><em> This study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test on two groups, involving 30 respondents, with 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. The intervention group received effleurage massage using VCO and proper positioning, while the control group only received proper positioning intervention. The instrument used was the Norton Scale, which was administered on the first day (pre-test) and the </em><em>third</em><em> day (post-test). </em><em>The Paired t-test was used to determine the Norton scores in the intervention and control groups, while the independent t-test was used to determine the difference in Norton scores between the two groups. </em><em> </em></p> <p><strong><em>Result:</em></strong><em> The results showed a significant decrease in pressure ulcer risk scores in the intervention group after two days of intervention, from 12.67 to 14.80 (p value 0.000). These compounding pressures create a conducive environment for the emergence of both academic burnout and quarter life crisis among nursing students. This study aimed to examine the relationship between academic burnout and quarter life crisis among final-year nursing students.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Method:</em></strong><em> This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational analytic design and cross-sectional method. The population consisted of final-year nursing students. A total of 84 final-year nursing students were recruited using a total sampling technique. The instruments used were the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) adapted into Indonesian to measure academic burnout, and the Quarter Life Crisis questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with a significance level of α = 0.05.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result:</em></strong> <em>Nearly half of the respondents experienced moderate academic burnout (48.8%), while more than half of the respondents experienced quarter life crisis at a high level (52.4%). The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling with a sample of 100 students in grades III-VI. The experimental group consisted of 50 students who were given an intervention using an educational video, while the control group consisted of 50 students who were given an educational leaflet. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test and the Independent Sample T-Test.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result: </em></strong><em>Children's independence significantly improved before and after the intervention in both the experimental and control groups (p value= 0.000). If the basis for the division is the time of contact of the researcher / observer with the population / sample of the study, this study is a cross sectional study. The population in this study were nurses in the adult care room at the At-Taqwa Gumawang</em> <em>Islamic Hospital, which numbered 25 people, consisting of 18 women and 7 men.</em></p> <p><strong><em>R</em></strong><strong><em>esults</em></strong><strong><em>:</em></strong><em> The results of research with work sampling techniques on nurse activities are divided into four types of activities, namely direct productive activities (40%), indirect productive activities (32%), unproductive activities (9%) and personal activities (19%). Self-control is a crucial aspect to consider regarding phubbing and smombie behaviors; poor self-control often manifests most visibly during social interactions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-control and phubbing/smombie behaviors among adolescents at MTsN 1 Kediri. </em></p> <p><strong><em>Methods</em></strong><em>: This is a quantitative study employing a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach, involving a sample of 236 7th and 8th-grade students at MTsN 1 Kediri. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling technique. The Self-Control Scale (SCS) was used to measure self-control, while the Phubbing &amp; Smombie Scale (PS) was used to measure phubbing and smombie behaviors. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s non-parametric correlation test. </em></p> <p><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>: The study yielded a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.238 with a significance value (p) of 0.278. Since p &gt; 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) was accepted. This indicates no statistically significant relationship between adolescent self-control and phubbing/smombie behaviors among students at MTsN 1 Kediri. The results reveal a research gap compared to previous studies; while earlier literature suggests a link between self-control and phubbing/smombie behaviors, this study found no significant relationship. A sample size of 48 respondents, consisting of 24 in the intervention group and 24 in the control group, was selected using accidental sampling according to inclusion criteria. Pain intensity was measured using a visual analog scale before and after the intervention. The intervention group was given the slow deep breathing technique once for ten minutes, while the control group received no special treatment. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test to determine differences in pain scores between the two groups.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><em> Based on the study results, the intervention group experienced a decrease in the average pain score after administering the Slow Deep Breathing (SDB) technique compared to before the intervention (p = 0.000). Similarly, the control group saw a decrease in the average pain score between the pre- and post-observation measurements (p = 0.004), although the magnitude of the decrease was smaller than that of the intervention group.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong><em> This study concluded that there was no significant difference in post-surgical pain reduction between the intervention group receiving the slow deep breathing technique and the control group. The slow deep breathing technique can still be considered a supportive non-pharmacological intervention in pain management. The success of this program is influenced by the availability of nursing human resources, the implementation of program activities, and participant involvement. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the availability of nursing human resources and the implementation of activities with the participation of Prolanis participants in Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Banjarmasin City.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Method:</em></strong><em> This study employed a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 27 Public Health Centers in Banjarmasin City implementing the Prolanis program, with total sampling used as the sampling technique. Data were collected using observation checklists and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through univariate and bivariate analyses using Fisher’s Exact Test with a significance level of α = 0.05.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result:</em></strong> <em>The results showed that most Public Health Centers had adequate nursing human resources (88.9%), and the implementation of Prolanis activities was categorized as achieved (85.2%). However, participant involvement in the Prolanis program was predominantly inactive (66.7%). Self-efficacy, defined as confidence in managing one’s illness, is a key factor that can enhance quality of life. Patients with high self-efficacy tend to adhere better to treatment and self-care, resulting in improved quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life among hypertensive patients at Kedungmundu Public Health Center.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Method: </em></strong><em>A cross-sectional study design was employed. A sample of 96 hypertensive patients was recruited using non-probability convenience sampling. Data collection instruments included a demographic questionnaire, the self-efficacy to manage hypertension questionnaire, and the WHOQOL-BREF Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the spearman rank test.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Result: </em></strong><em>The median value of self efficacy was 41.00. The mean score of overall quality of life was 66.99. The median score for the quality of life domains were 60.68 for the physical domain, 70.72 for the psychological domain, 66.62 for the social domain, and 68.75 for the environmental domain. Statistical analysis result showed a significant relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life (r=0.283, p=0.007). The correlations between self efficacy and quality of life domains were as follows: physical domain (r=0.097, p=0.346), psychological domain (r=0.102, p=0.322), social domain (r=0.176, p=0.087), environmental domain (r=0.273, p=0.007).</em></p> <p><strong><em>Conclusion: </em></strong><em>There is a weak positive relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life,and self efficacy was found to be relationship only with the environmental domain of quality of life. A total of 30 participants were selected using accidental sampling and divided into two groups: the intervention group (n = 15), which received effleurage massage with olive oil twice daily for three days, and the control group (n = 15), which did not receive the intervention. The degree of pressure ulcers was assessed through clinical observation based on the pressure ulcer staging classification (Braden Score). Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to analyze changes in the degree of pressure ulcers before and after the intervention in each group, while differences in the degree of pressure ulcers between groups after the intervention were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><em> Most respondents were aged ≥60 years (90%), male (66.7%), and had a Braden score in the very high-risk category (76.7%). In the intervention group, 86.7% of respondents did not develop pressure ulcers and 13.3% developed Stage I pressure ulcers, whereas in the control group, 73.3% did not develop pressure ulcers, 20.0% developed Stage I pressure ulcers, and 6.7% developed Stage II pressure ulcers. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed no significant change in pressure ulcer stage in either the intervention group (p=1.000) or the control group (p=0.157). The results of the Mann–Whitney test showed no difference in post-test pressure ulcer stage between the intervention and control groups (p=0.512).</em></p> <p class="s29"><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong><em> The administration of effleurage massage using olive oil did not have a significant effect on the severity of pressure ulcers in bedridden patients at a private hospital in Yogyakarta. Selecting the right wound cleansing solution plays a crucial role in supporting the wound healing process, but evidence regarding the effectiveness of Electrolyzed Strong Water Acid (ESWA) in DFU patients is limited. This study aimed to analyze the effect of wound cleansing using ESWA on DFU healing compared to normal saline.</em></p> <p><em><strong>Methods: </strong>This study used a quasi-experimental, post-test-only control group design and was conducted at Rumah Luka Surabaya from April 29 to May 29, 2019. A total of 100 respondents were selected using simple random sampling and divided into a treatment group receiving ESWA wound cleansing (n=50) and a control group receiving normal saline (n=50). Wound healing was evaluated using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool (BWAT) every three days for one month. Data analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney test.</em></p> <p><em><strong>Results: </strong>The mean BWAT score in the treatment group was lower than in the control group (20.25 vs. 25.18), with a mean decrease of 16.75 and 11.07, respectively. Both groups were in the wound regeneration category. The Mann-Whitney test showed no significant difference between the two groups (p=0.078).</em></p> <p><em><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Wound cleansing using ESWA did not have a statistically significant effect on DFU healing compared to normal saline.
