Tujuan: Keberhasilan bimbingan klinik Profesi Ners dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman terhadap peran dan fungsi sebagai pembimbing klinik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan pembimbing klinik Pendidikan Profesi Ners Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala.


Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini semua mahasiswa aktif Pendidikan Profesi Ners Fakultas Keperawatan Universitas Syiah Kuala tahun ajaran 2023/2024.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan total sampling sebanyak 121 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisa data dengan statistik deskriptif.


Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemampuan pembimbing klinik Pendidikan Profesi Ners 56,2% menilai cukup, kemudian pada kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan baik dan benar sebesar 78,5%  menilai baik, segi kemampuan menjadi model peran profesional oleh pembimbing klinik 81,8% menilai baik, pada pembimbing klinik berkeinginan memberikan waktu yang cukup untuk peserta didik 63,6% menilai cukup meskipun 21,5% menilai kurang, Selain itu kemampuan menjadi pendengar yang baik dan kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah pada pembimbing klinik 69,4% menilai baik, kemampuan untuk tanggap terhadap kebutuhan dan terhadap rendahnya pengalaman peserta didik 68,6% menilai baik, pembimbing klinik mengenali dan terbiasa dengan teori dan praktik terkini 67,8% menilai baik, dan segi kompeten dan percaya diri dalam peran sebagai pembimbing klinik 63,6% menilai baik.


Simpulan: Bagi Pendidikan Profesi Ners membuat aplikasi evaluasi kemampuan pembimbing klinik, tidak hanya yang di institusi pendidikan, namun juga yang di tempat praktik, diisi mahasiswa setiap selesai stase secara berkelanjutan.
